March Flies Swarm Juneau
The flies that seem to be everywhere in Juneau these past 3 weeks are March Flies (Family Bibionidae, Genus Bibio), according to Biologist John Hudson of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service’s Habitat Restoration division.
