Kristy Naylor, Securities and Enforcement Chief and David Newman, Senior Examiner for the State of Alaska Division of Banking and Securities share the story – and video interview — of Bill Burk of Anchorage who was a victim of financial fraud. Burk, a Korean War veteran, former boxer, miner and commercial fisherman had been promised returns of 16 to 18 percent for his investment, but the initial sales pitch was disingenuous.
