Host Adrien Lopez interviews Andy Winer, Director of Strategic Initiatives & Partnerships and the Acting Director of External Affairs at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) in Washington DC. He shared more information about the Joint ‘Statement of Intent’ to Strengthen Regional Disaster Risk Reduction and Resilience signed at the APEC CEO Summit in mid-November 2011, and the Joint Polar Satellite System, among other topics.

In the second part of the show, from 7:30 – 8:00 PM, she talked with Travis Gilmour, Public Media Director for KAKM TV, KSKA 91.1FM, and the Alaska Public Radio Network (APRN). He’s playing this Saturday at 7:30 PM along with Steve Houlihan – they will be performing a Blues set. This part of the show with Mike Truax for the Goldbelt Concert series at the Luthern Church.
