We’ll talk with people involved with Sunday’s production of the play, BIRTH, sponsored by the International Caesarian Awareness Network; we’ll get a preview of this Friday’s concert at The Rookery by Tracy Spring; and we’ll learn about Life By The Lynn, with author, Christie Loney, who is having a booksigning Saturday at Hearthside Books in the Nugget Mall.

Pat Moore will guest host. He’ll talk with organizers of the upcoming SAIL Auction, Jorden Nigro and Kate Wolters; Paul Carroll and K. J. Metcslf will give us a preview of his talk on Wednesday on U.S. Nuclear Policy; we’ll get some insight into the Low Vision Support Group, with guests Janet Lumiansky and Dale Wygant; and we’ll learn about the Juneau Community Charter School’s upcoming trip to Denali & Fairbanks.

We’ll talk with Amy Skilbred and Zoe Morrison about Juneau’s Climate Action Plan; Amy Guilick will be here to give us a preview of her presentation tonight highlighting her book, Salmon in the Trees; we’ll talk with Pua Maunu & Sara Connaro about visiting local artists in their studios; and Tom Mattice will review lessons learned during last week’s Disaster Preparedness Expo.
