We’ll talk with Ida Barnack about next Saturday’s Walk for the Poor; Katie Chapman & Marshaa Bennett, from NAMI, will be here to highlight the upcoming Family-To-Family classes; we’ll talk with Steve Wolf about local activities surrounding Human Rights Week; and Saralyn Tabtchnik from AWARE will be here to talk about the nomination process for the annual Women of Distinction event.

Today at 3 on A Juneau Afternoon, Pat Moore will guest host. He’ll talk with Alexander Tutonov, performing tonight as the first presenter in the UAS Evening at Egan series; Jeffra Clough will fill us in on the details for Saturday’s Discover Eaglecrest Day; we’ll find out about the Rotary Youth Exchange program with guest Virginia Stonkus; and we’ll get a sample of Ed Littlefield’s amalgam of traditional Tlingit lullabies and jazz, performing tonight at the JACC.

We’ll find out about this Friday’s Recovery Poetry Jam at the CANVAS, with guests Gus Marx and Christy Namee Eriksen; we’ll talk improv with guests Eric Caldwell, Michael Christenson and visiting Creativity Teacher, Michael Robinson; J P Vargas and Ari Rome will give us a musical preview of their performances at the Alaskan this weekend; and Nancy DeCherney will be here with news and views about local activities during Arts Up.
