From crass to delicate, told by wallflowers or clowns, live stories are mesmerizing and raw. Don’t think fables, ghost or children’s stories. This is not a theatrical performance, but real life stories from your friends, acquaintances, and quite possibly, someone you have never met.

Each Mudrooms event features seven-minute personal stories from seven people on a monthly theme. Tonight at 7, “Near Death Experiences.”

March’s Mudrooms, themed “Monsters,” will air tomorrow night on KTOO, 104.3 FM at 7 p.m. Tune in to hear 7-minute stories told by:
Tony Newman about his attempt to find his lost wedding ring;
Rudy Ascott on how an unofficial suicide attempt let him gain the controllers of Super Mario Brothers;
Vance Sanders with Lynn Schooler on the devastation of the Exon Valdez oil spill;
Amanda Compton whines about her fear of earth worms;
Pat Race tells about a college streaking experience;
Crystal Hudack talks about Word Monsters, and
Max Blust on real honest monsters.
