An Arts@360 special presentation of our Red Carpet Concert Series-short concerts that feature original music played on our arts, culture, and music office’s red carpet.
These ten concerts were recorded in one day in a tiny, third-floor room in the historic Alaskan Bar and Hotel during the 42nd annual Alaska Folk Festival in 2016.
During Celebration 2016, KTOO Public Media, Trickster Company, and Kindred Post collaborated to produce the Red Carpet Concert: Celebration Sessions. We hauled a bunch of gear and our red carpet into studio shared by Christy NaMee Eriksen and Rico Worl and recorded 8 Alaska Native performances in one day. Teri Tibbett is an Alaskan singer-songwriter and performer. She has performed on the stages of festivals and clubs in over 70 Alaskan communities since 1976. Her music is rich with Alaskan perspective.
Arts@360’s Alaska Originals is excited to present the work of Woosh Kinaadeiyí, featuring spoken word performances by Christy NaMee Eriksen, Veinglorious , Guy Unzicker and Mike Christenson, set to the music of Jacob Pickard. Conor Lendrum hosts.
Woosh Kinaadeiyí is a nonprofit organization committed to diversity, inclusive community, and empowering voice. Woosh Kinaadeiyí organizes free to low cost monthly events in Juneau, including open mics, poetry slams, and spoken word workshops.

The Hannah Yoter Band on Alaska Originals — a 360 North production that features original music by Alaskans.
Hannah Yoter is well versed in the language of acoustic music. From an early age her world was filled with songs and stories that spanned generations and genres of folk music. Hannah began playing bluegrass guitar when she was a young girl growing up in rural Hope, Alaska. The music she played took her places around the state before eventually leading her to North Carolina in early 2009. While in NC, Hannah studied the old time Appalachian music tradition and picked up old-time banjo. She also found a love of song writing while living in the Blue Ridge Mountains out side of Asheville. She traveled with multiple bands around the area before deciding to move home to Alaska in 2013. Since moving back to Alaska, Hannah has assembled a band and refined her sound that sits right in the middle of Americana roots and classic country. Hannah and her band have traveled all over the state of Alaska for numerous performances and opened for acts such as Lonestar and The California Honeydrops. Earlier this year Hannah finished her self titled EP and the band is currently working towards a full length album.
