Burk, a Korean War veteran, former boxer, miner and commercial fisherman had been promised returns of 16 to 18 percent for his investment, but the initial sales pitch was disingenuous. Fortunately, Mr. Burk got his money back thanks to the Division of Banking and Securities. Ann Secrest of AARP Alaska conducts the interview.
