Tune into the Alaska Identity Project on Thursday, March 22, 2012. Host Adrien Lopez will interview Dr. Jeep Rice, Program Manager of Habitat Assessment & Marine Chemistry for the Alaska Fisheries Science Center (NOAA). With the upcoming 23rd Anniversary of the Exxon Valdez Oil Spill, we’ll discuss his role and extensive field work conducted after that tragic event (7:00 – 7:30 PM). In the second half of the show, we’ll talk with Michael Goldstein, Executive Director of the Alaska Coastal Rainforest Center (7:30 – 8:00 PM).

Host Adrien Lopez will interview Dr. Kevin Krein, Co-owner and Lead Guide for Alaska Powder Descents (7:00 – 7:30 PM), and then in the second half of the show talk with Katie Hurley, a member of the Alaska Women’s Hall of Fame for her dedication to public service for over 60 years in Alaska (7:30 – 8:00 PM).

Harding’s 1923 visit to Alaska including a photo of the first Presidential visit to a glacier; and Steve Kocsis will introduce Dennis Mammana, whio will be delivering a program Monday night on photographing the Northern Lights at Marie Drake Planetarium.
