Community Connection: Don Levine

Community Connection is a segment on KTOO’s Juneau Afternoon where listeners share personal stories, reflections, poetry or music about life in these strange times.

Don Levine writes, “Hi- since April is poetry month, I wrote a poem of these times. Tom Cosgrove saw it and suggested I submit to you. We were 20+ year SE Alaskans, Juneau, Sitka and Skagway. When it came time to retire, we decided it was better to come to Portland, where they had cheap travel to exotic places and a road system, and we could visit friends in Alaska any time we wanted. Oh well…..that didn’t work so good. Stay healthy, all y’all.”
