It was a great time.
We raised some cash for the Trip South, people danced with wild abandon, Manu and Panah killed it, a good time. Thanks to bartenders Lynn, Julia and Luke and to the staff at the JACC.

Well, IT happened. The Li’l Shavers all went bald for the cause and in the process raised $2,500 for Children’s Cancer research. We came in 3rd of all the teams in Juneau!! You can still contribute by clicking here . Thanks for the support!!

This two-part event was really cool. In the first part, an all-ages group of all of us created a work of public art with the help of Ed Littlefield and Sarah Conarro, that will be installed on the side of the KTOO building!

Then, musical invention occurred at the hands of Playboy Spaceman and Tiger Pilot. It was very good. That is all.

Juneau vs The Yukon in a battle of international importance! The Sister City Smackdown happened Saturday Feb. 18 and was an epic see-saw battle to the end! See it on 360 North, Channel 18 here in Juneau, during it’s re-broadcast Saturday Feb 25!

Boomy! The KXLL Boombox Robot can pick up objects in a rudimentary fashion, make an amazing dirty martini, and plays KXLL – Excellent Radio at an inappropriately loud volume! Boomy loves the radio as much as artificial intelligence allows, and if you try to take it away from him he will exercise his prime directive and eliminate you with his lasers. WE LOVE BOOMY!!

A couple of Fire on McGinnis members, Lazlo and Matt, came by the studio to talk about the remastering of some of their recordings, a wild Czech who made a cartoon of their song about insanity, and their gig tonight at the Rendez. Note Lazlo’s son’s excitement about the interview.
