We’ll talk to organizers involved with Saturday’s World Affairs Council Forum on Israeli-Palestinian Peace; Tom Mattice and Tina Brown will be here with a preview of tonight’s Wildlife Wednesday program on the recent flooding of Mendenhall Lake; Peace activist Pam Bailey will be here with a preview of her presentations this week, “Who Are the Palestinian Ghandi’s?; We’ll also learn about tomorrow night’s Early Learning Carnival at Harborview Elementary.

Elaine will be interviewing Pat White, a Juneau counselor, about mindfulness practices that are now a standard part of modern psychology and may be taught to psychotherapy clients to reduce stress and create healthier thinking habits.

Juneau Afternoon 9/2/11

We’ll talk with Zuill Baily, appearing in concert with Awadigin Pratt this coming Monday at the UAS Egan Library; Iris Korhonen-Penn and Jane Stokes will be here to highlight their show opening Friday at the Franklin Street Gallery at the Baranof Hotel; and Elva Bontrager will be here with the word about tonight’s Mountain Music Festival at the top of the tram.
