Today at 3 on A Juneau Afternoon, Pat Moore will host. Dr. Alexander Tutonov, pianist, will be here to tell us about his final Master Class recital in Juneau which will begin at 3 p.m. Sunday at UAS’s Egan Lecture Hall; Bob Vieth and Mary Hakala will be here to highlight STEM Summer Science camps; we’ll get the details about Saturday’s Alaska Health Fair at the Nugget Mall from Alaska Health Fair, Inc’s Southeast Alaska Program Director Chelsea Field; and Brian Holst from the Juneau Economic Council will be here along with Brett Farrell from Marine Exchange Alaska – they’ll have neww about this year’s May 12 Juneau Maritime Festival.

Juneau Afternoon 3/27/12

Today at 3 on KTOO-FM on A Juneau Afternoon, Pat Moore will host. We’ll find out about Layers of Change: The Sitka Choose Respect Mural Project, a documentary of a community creating a mural which will airs tonight at 8 on 360 North TV; Emily Wall will be here with a preview of her Wildlife Wednesday presentation tomorrow; we’ll feature Laurie Scandling’s presentation from the February Mudrooms event; and we’ll find out about this afternoon’s Poetry Out Loud event from three high school students who pariticipated in the competition: Carson Barnes, Christopher Simms, and Raphael Sales, along with faculty member and event organizer Kristin Gerot from Thunder Mountain High School.

Juneau Afternoon 3/26/12

We’ll find out about Wednesday’s Mens’ Health Forum; Ken Fix will be here with a preview of Tuesday’s Planetarium presentation; Scott Ciambor will highlight Alaska’s housing stock and homelessness; Jenny Fremlin, from Alaska Litho, will be here with news about upcoming training seminars; and we’ll talk with Brandon Demory and Art Rotch about this weekend’s performances of the play, I Am My Own Wife.
