More than 1,000 people responded to an online survey on Juneau’s Eaglecrest Ski Area. Coupled with an earlier telephone survey of Juneau residents, the results are part of the master plan process underway by the Eaglecrest Board of Directors.
State could save billions with pension reserve fund, analyst says
The state could save more than $5 billion in future payments to the Alaska Public Employees’ Retirement System by immediately putting $2 billion into a pension reserve fund, according to a fiscal analyst for the legislature.
