He’ll talk with Kevin Sweeney, tomorrow’s featured Pillars of America speaker; Sarah Lewis and Megan Gregory will be here to talk about Slow Food; Elise Tomlinson will be here to highlight her art show, opening Friday at the JACC; Jessica Paris will drop in to tell us of Bead for Life; and Liz Gifford and Jeanette Sleppe from Floyd Dryden Middle School will introduce students involved in the Rose Urban Rural exchange program.

We’ll learn about this Saturday’s First Annual Chicken Summit with guest clucker, Darren Snyder; and Ted Merrell will be here with details about Saturday’s Blessing of the Fleet, and we’ll learn about the Juneau Family Health & Birth Center.

We’ll learn about tonight’s UAS Sound & Spirit presentation by Tom Cosgrove; we’ll talk with Keegan Messing, whose championship skating skills will be highlighted in Saturday’s Juneau Skating Club Spring Recital; Ran Bar Yoshafat will give us a preview of his weekend presentations on his perspectives on Israel and the Mid-East conflict; Nancy Barnes will focus on Saturday’s Native Artists’ Market at the JACC; and we’ll talk with Sarah Isto, author of the new book, Fur Farms of Alaska.
