He’ll talk with Charlotte Truitt, Vocal Coach for the production, and eight members of the cast of the Northern Lights Junior Theatre’s upcoming production of PETER PAN; Rosemary Gruening and Nancy Woods will be here to highlight Hospice & Home Care of Juneau; we’ll find out about the upcoming DISCOVERY DAY, with guests Beth Weigel and Christine Amor from Discovery Southeast; and Kristin Gerot, MacKenzie DeRego and Sorcha Hazelton will be here with the word about Saturday’s Hunger Banquet at Thunder Mountain High School.

We’ll hear about Geography Awareness Week activities including GeoFest, to be held 1-4 pm Saturday at the Mendenhall Glacier Visitor’s Center from guest Katie Kennedy; Katrina Pearson, from Hearthside Books, will be here to highlight this Sunday’s 5th Annual Holiday event; we’ll talk with Mary Watson and Professor Lawton Brigham about geography & Arctic policy as part of the Juneau World Affairs Council’s Fall Forum on the Politics of Global Climate Change; and Geoff Kirsch will be here with a preview of his upcoming workshop on writing under pressure.

We’ll talk with Alysia Jones about this Saturday’s Coffee & Collections presentation at the City Museum about President Harding’s trip to Alaska; we’ll find out about Morally-Improverished’s shows this weekend at the Gold Town; and we’ll get a preview of this week’s presentation on Climate Change & Human Rights as part of the Juneau World Affairs Council’s Fall Forum on the Politics of Global Climate Change.

We’ll talk with Alaskan author Tricia Brown, in town for a talk & book signing tomorrow night at the downtown Library at 5; we’ll find out about the Juneau Lyric Opera’s upcoming production of La Boheme; we’ll get a preview of this week’s Fall Forum on the politics of Global Climate Change, with keynote speaker, Dr. Detlef Sprinz; and we’ll go to the movies – with vehicles as a theme – with Clint Farr and Pat Race.
